Prescribed medications and
medications for stomach disorders should be brought. It is also recommended to
bring mosquito repellent. Water should only be drunk from sealed bottles and it
is advisable to avoid ice. Dress code generally is practical. Strong shoes for
Excursions and sun hat are recommended.
Climate:
Hurghada has relatively dry
climate. On a hot summer day you can actually have a very pleasant time. The
reason for this is very low humidity in the dessert. Regardless of the time of
the year normally there is significant difference in temperatures between night
and day. November through April it is advisable to bring warm cotton clothes
for the evening; in winter the nights can be quite chilly even if it is hot and
sunny during the day. The rainfall in the Red Sea region is extremely rare -
the yearly average precipitation is 0.05 cm.
